This sounds really cool, but from the pictures, it appears that seeing the board to determine ranges and movement would be a pain. In some shots, you can barely see the figures. It does look cool, however.

heh! Cool idea….. I have used dry ice to similar effect in several games. Having worked with larger smoke machines in art/theater applications, I'm not sure the expense and specialized construction of small units is really worth the effect, not while dry ice can still be had from many local corner-stores… Oddly enough, I enjoy a little 'smoke' on the table for certain scenarios, but always felt that LEDs/lighting detract from the illusion of miniatures/miniatures painting. Never had a problem with LOS/measuring, by the way…
