GIMP is an awesome image suit but no one could ever claim that it does the work for you….

I have thirty-six codes of infantry that I'll be uploading to my Shapeways store today, so if you see things popping up and being rearranged, that's why. No models are changing, so if you're one of the guys who purchased some previously don't worry, what you have will continue to work (except for those 20mm! My offer for free replacements stands!).

The codes are will include 20m, 30mm, 40mm and 60mm strips, in two, three and four ranks, and with no flags, one flag, or two flags. These codes will allow you to put together most infantry forces from the time of Louis the 14th until the Franco-Prussian War. There will be 14 strips per model, and the price per strip range from $.50 USD to $.69 USD. A campaign strength French battalion of 450 men is about $1.50 USD. My website is also getting there; I just need to get a bunch of pictures ready to go. I have the pics on my phone, just need to touch them up a bit… it's going to be a busy day….

Here's a close up picture of some the infantry and a command base.

Flag might be wrong on there, it's kind of generic just to show how red infantry paint up. These are 40mm bases with about 150 figures per base.

A bit more eye candy…

And last but not least, this guy…

Missed this guy…

Also, division level cavalry attack:

There are roughly 6000 figures in the photo above.

Only 6000 figures. So it's a skirmish game. : ). That's quite impressive.

I like the river, and as I always say this little guys actually put things in perspective

Glad you like them. For the record, the range of the 48 guns to the infantry is a little over the range Senarmont's guns were deployed at during his "artillery charge." About 400m or so. Senarmont actually got closer. The target is about the same size, approximately; most of a division.

Close up here:

I'm going to do up some limber teams without guns shortly.
Does anyone know where horse artillery horse holders stood when the battery deployed?

Here's my store link. Still working on my website. A lot of these pictures are going to be going up and replacing the stupid render pictures that are currently up. I hate those things…

Everything you see on this table in from the store except the chalk, the cotton swabs, the clump foliate and the cloth itself.

I'm about to start uploading a lot of new files so things will be popping up here shortly.

Tom-
Glad you like them. Getting an entire line ready is a lot of work. The infantry was the hardest part, as there are a lot of codes for all the different size, rank and flag options. I decided to offer some new cavalry bases too, with a guidon in the squadron to give the pieces a focus; also, these come in various sizes. Right now I have an 88 man squadron with guidon and a 129 man squadron with guidon. I'll have something available inbetween those extremes later today. I'll also try to get some 3 rank cavalry up as well.

After that, buildings are next. I have a lot of ideas for those…

I also came up with an idea for adding hills and valleys, and rolling terrain to my mats that will still let them be portable. More details when I learn whether or not it works.

Also, I miscounted in a post above; the table top pictured has over 13k figures on it.

Very impressive. It sure looks a lot different from larger scale games:

Thanks! Yeah, the ground scale really puts things into perspective. Phase two is when I get some more buildings in and can do a proper 12' table. I may need some more clump foliage though…

Very interesting, and looks good, thanks!

I am really impressed and love the look of these! I'd even love to try my hand at painting some.
Thanks for the inspiration and sharing man!

Glad you guys like them!
I'm working on a sample set for people who want to see how the different troop types look without a big investment.
I'm also going to put together a single sprue that will have everything you need for a Black Powder game. More on that soon…
