Very nice. What are the glowing yellow train cars and drums?

How large is the diorama?

Its Sulphur and its just the camera that's making the glow effect, the layout is 6` x 4` with a second half to follow in the Autumn and for 28mm gaming.
Cheers AL

An absolutely excellent piece of work. Well done, the factory is straight out of the film. Brilliant.

I really like those guys putting out the air-recognition panel -- it's like a little vignette.

Mick in Switzerland11 Jun 2017 12:44 p.m. PST

Absolutely fantastic game and table. Well done

I followed your build log on The Guild for this. Quite extraordinary results, certainly one of the handsomest tables I've ever seen. I've made a couple of stabs at Stalingrad myself but nowhere near as well as you have.

What a great looking game.

Al, I've been following your progress on other sites, this is absolutely superb! The attention to detail, thought and work that went into this is mind boggling. The boilers, rusty pipes, metal hand rails and debris in the factory: perfect! Your figures are wonderful! Definitely a show winner.
Thanks for posting.

Fish12 Jun 2017 5:02 a.m. PST

To me it looks like a (stunning) gaming table and not a diorama…

alcal5013 Jun 2017 12:01 a.m. PST

Almost too nice to play on-almost.
Where did you get your loose bricks?

They are chopped out of balsa wood individualy.
Cheers AL

Matsuru Sami Kaze13 Jun 2017 8:57 a.m. PST

Do you understand how much work it takes to create all those individual bricks. That's what impressed me.

per ardua21 Jun 2017 3:31 p.m. PST

Excellent set up,

ScottS22 Jun 2017 2:06 p.m. PST
