GW are doing another global campaign for 40K, this will be the first one I remember in about a dozen years. I played quite a few games for the ones they ran in the early 2000s and it was a lot of fun having a bigger context for the games. I don't really remember the results being anything earth shattering though. I suppose that when things are played the results should probably balance out, if it goes too much one way or the other it would probably indicate some kind of fundamental unbalance in the system. link The nice thing to me is that it is a ready made campaign for you and your friends to set up games in. You don't have to keep track of anything, results and changes are posted from week to week. The AoS campaign they did was great in that regard too and we got a number of AoS games in that tied in with all of that. It starts in late July so I should have a good 40 Primaris marines done by then at least. I will have to see what we are gong to do locally, as it would be great to launch into this with my Genestealer cult but maybe I'll pull out my Nurgle Daemons to get more into the flavour of it. |

Oh dear, all the signs are pushing me towards 40k. The Local GW Manager wanted to friend me on Facebook a couple of weeks ago which I approved. I have been chatting to him and buying paints from him for about ten years. Then about a week ago he invited me to join a 40k Group. Then this Campaign popped up on the Group. I am going to buy Imperium 2 as I have a completed Sisters Army which could do with a bit of updating paint wise (Goblin Green bases and all). I also have a mass of Valhallans and unmade Vehicles sitting on a shelf which I keep thinking of selling. I think this could give me the push into 40k gaming at a reasonable cost as I have not been able to do any Historical gaming for years due to lack of opportunity. |

about 120.00, but everyone is snagging it for the larger marines, making Nurgle super cheap to get into :) |

I think I'm going to participate. Not sure what faction I will play though (maybe Chaos, just because…) Damon. |
