Hi folks,

for those of you who aren't on facebook, I thought I'd mention here that I've added long curves to the Take Cover Scenics 20-28mm Normandy-style Bocage road range. As with the rest of the Normandy range, they're built on a 5 inch wide flexible base. Hedgerows are attached to the actual base, giving an approx 3" width of useable road. The length on the longer, outer curve is approx 12" (approx 30cm).

Wheel ruts and tank tracks are added as a default (although they can be made without tank tracks – as can be seen in the photos). Everything is then painted and highlighted, and then flock and static grass are added to bring the hedges and ground cover to life.

Please check out the website for more information: takecoverscenics.co.uk

Here are a few photos taken with either 20mm (WW2) or 28mm (Dark Age) figures. Hope you like them.

Finally, a shot showing 2 curves together with 2 sets of Normandy-Style Bocage Roads (20-28mm) which gives a combined length of around 7 feet of ready-to-use bocage-style roads.

Thanks for looking, John.

Wow what a great all-in-one product for games with bocaged roads.

I've been reading for years articles about how to make bocage, how to make roads, how to lay out for Normandy. I've never heard of combining the pieces, but that seems so obvious now that you've done it.

Thanks! Glad you like the look of them
