ok there 32mm not 28mm my bad unfortunatly I can't edit the title

Saw the link on Facebook and have to admit I like the Romulans quite a bit. around $6.50 USD a figure isn't terriable for botique figures.

I really like the Original deck crew. Tempting.

The £39.99 GBP a pack is bit mind blowing though! £159.96 GBP for the 4 with more packs due to be released, this could get expensive quickly!

I don't think that the figure price is all that bad for character figures that you will only want 1 of. I'd want a few more figures for general cannon fodder though. I got the test rules and found them rather confusing at times, so I'm more likely to use a simpler skirmish set with suitable modifications. Hopefully they will do more original series figures as that is my show preference.

I wanted these until i saw the price… i wanted them for the counterblast rules really… then again there EDO are £7.99 GBP a figure..!!! I`m worried that the Fallout game we be the too much as well.

I don't find less than 6 euros per 32mm resin figure "mindblowing" these days.

I think the price is in the acceptable range, but it's too high for an impulse purchase. At this cost-per-figure, I'll wait until I can see some reviews of the finished product.

An update. "For the miniatures collectors we've created a special new Wave 1 Miniatures bundle for all four of the miniatures sets which saves £20.00 GBP / $25 USD on the total price.

In addition the Romulan and Klingon sets have been upgraded to include a total of 10 miniatures each instead of 8".

The Klingons and TOS Starfleet crew are the clear winners here for me. The TNG bridge crew and Romulan set both seem to be wearing three different uniform variants, which makes the sets much less useful for portraying a specific time period.

Romulan set for me is by rather disappointing. Where the other sets get 8 unique sculpts per set, the Rommies only get five, even in a box of ten. And then half of those ten miniatures (including two of those unique sculpts) were wasted on Romulans with non-canon uniforms from an MMO. Basically doubles the cost of making a ten man group of romulans to over $100 USD bucks if you are of a more purist mindset.

I would have expected a lot better for the price honestly. I'll probably pick up the klingon set at least. But the price, and the uniform weirdness with the TNG and Romulan crew are big turn off.

Yes, the price of these is offputting. Not likely to go for these.

Good likenesses though for the Bridge crews. Although why does Scotty look like Simon Pegg? ;)

It's been announced that Wave 2 will be Borg Drones, Star Trek Villains, Next Gen Starfleet Away Team and a set yet to be determined.

Crossing my fingers then that the TNG away team will actually be wearing TNG uniforms instead of DS9 uniforms this time then.

Borg drones excite me. I wonder what the other set will be? Cardassians or Dominion would be the most likely, I think…but if they decided to do some more TOS stuff, TOS Klingons or Romulans would be a good choice.
