I need to pick up some 28mm swords for a project I am working on and I'd like get nice thick swords that don't easily break. I picked up some GB swords recently and while they are nicely sculpted they are quite bendable (and thus breakable.) Does anyone know of a source for slightly thicker 28mm sword blades?

For just the blade without the tang and handle, I have used the teeth from a hard plastic hair comb.

Good idea but I was thinking about the whole sword. The only part the worries me is the blade since it is the only part that breaks!

I don't know if the guy at Saxon Miniatures will sell separate swords, but they are pretty stout.

Marcus; try some of the sites that carry plastic ancients and or some of the citadel empire stuff. Some of the individual spurs have nice swords.

Front Rank have very good strong metal swords.
