Nazi spies in Bay City?
That's the rumor, at least, and it has Jack 'the Knack' Murphy, leader of the Bay City Cyclones, very concerned. What's known for sure is that a certain foreign national, said to be connected to the German consulate, has been observed around town lately holding discreet conversations with Beauregard 'Bo' Denton, the leader of the America Forever Pary, Jack's arch-nemesis, and a self-professed candidate for the governor's mansion in next fall's state elections.
My word, could agents of the newly-proclaimed Third Reich be trying to meddle in an American election?
Jack, who was already worried about Denton's alliance with radio and newspaper magnate G. Randolph Mullins (see 'The Big Pitch' here:
