Is anyone else having problems with the new Studio Bergstrom website checkout process?

When I'm going through the shopping cart process and attempt to estimate shipping to Australia, I get a "Warning: No Shipping options are available. Please contact us for assistance!" message at the top of the cart. I am then unable to complete my order.

Three times now over the past month I have left messages via the "contact us for assistance" link but have had no response.

I just wonder if that link is broken and Andrew Bergstrom isn't receiving the message. Or is it just me and I'm a complete goose? ;)

Has anyone else had any similar experience?

Sadly, the permissions to send or forward emails from the server I have for the website have not been working, and my webmaster has not been able to fix it. I haven't seen any emails or messages through the website for that reason. Please send me an email to: stumer (at) verizon (dot) net.

The other problem I have been dealing with is that the USPS system isn't perfect, and they are the ones providing postage rates, some which are way more than they should be, and I will always discount them to the best rate I can get. The cart system sends a request to "Capture" the payment calculated, and I always manually correct them and capture the correct amount, even when the P&H is pushed up a bit to Priority Mail. However, one other bug is that they don't always recognize an International address, and I have had similar problems in Australia, France, Spain, Germany, and a few other countries.

I can always respond to an order by email, but the new catalog pages help me keep orders and inventory straight, which is why I appreciate customers using it whenever possible.

Thanks for the heads up, and I'm sorry you had difficulties ordering.

'Drew

Thanks 'Drew.

I've sent you an email about this. Thanks for getting back to me so quickly.

I placed an order to Scotland (UK) and it all seemed to go through fine.
