I blame the Russians. Me too – if Catherine the Great hadn't refused George III's request for 20,000 Cossacks, and had stayed out of the League of Armed Neutrality, it could have all turned out very differently. Of course, you'd have had the Russian mafia about 200 years earlier, but then also mail order brides. So, win some, lose some, eh? |
