Does anyone know anything about this new set of rules and scenarios?-"

I was part of the playtest – it's a campaign system with 18 different scenarios, but they're not actual historical battles. During the campaign you choose whether to do more trading or more raiding. The more trading you do the more muskets you get, but the more raiding you do the more likely you are to get a favorable scenario. You can also get "upgrades" to your guys like Marksmen or Fast that you can use to customize your force for the scenario you are playing.

The scenarios are well done and very different from one another. I thought the campaign system does a good job of providing strategic decision making that affects the on-table games. The playtest was done with about 10 different tribes so it was quite large.

The author is very knowledgeable about the Beaver Wars and he was also the author of the rules.

It's a print-on-demand and you can get it on Lulu.

Wouldn't have been my first choice for a title…

Bought it -- well worth the money with good ideas for campaigns and scenarios for any skirmish rules.
