"Defence and security company Saab unveiled today a scale model of its new MCMV 80 vessel at the Undersea Defence Technology (UDT) 2017 exhibition currently held in Bremen, Germany. According to Saab, the "mine counter measure vessel 80" is a next generation MCM vessel featuring operational flexibility and adaptable configuration, designed to meet current and future challenges.

According to Saab, the MCMV 80 can be tailored to a wide range of different missions. Containerized mission modules allow you to conduct operations both in the minefield and outside. With a helicopter flight deck and a UAV hangar you add logistic and reconnaissance operation capabilities. Two stern ramps and a launching crane enables the launch of ASUV, ASV, ROV and RHIB's or interceptors. Together, it makes the MCMV 80 the perfect platform for a wide range of manned and unmanned operations…"
