I was just using the Search function, and realized it has always worked for me, and usually gets me good responses. Thought I'd mention this, since we always write in with complaints about "The Bug," Bill's decisions, who gets doghoused, and Bill's exploited proletariat. Thought I should say something nice, at least once in a while. I realize this is roughly akin to pointing out that Bill is wearing nice socks today. Still . . . Grelber |

I use it often, sometimes before I post a question I look it up to see if there is another thread and occasionally its years old. |

I use it with mixed results. Sometimes I will also type in key words and see what pops up; I have found some useful threads this way. |

I find it works most of the time… and then other times, it just doesn't. I've got it on my Things to Fix list… |

I've just bookmarked a google search for "site: theminiaturespage.com and then add in whatever I'm looking for when I go to that. Works wayyyyy better than the search function! |

Works wayyyyy better than the search function! Yes and no, because when the TMP search function does work, it really does find everything – and Google doesn't. Also, if you are searching the main forum, you can make your Google search more specific: "site: theminiaturespage.com/boards |

Find it takes too long for me. Actually (and I know this is a problem that most people don't have) TMP items are generally slower to load than most sites – I put that down more to something about my system rather than TMP. As I said, I know most people don't have this as an issue. When I log onto TMP, for example, and click the 'go to homepage' icon, I usually open an other window and look at something else while it's loading. |

I find using Google is faster. I just search for "TMP 54mm" as an example…loads of TMP hits come back. Takes a bit of strain off the server too. I do rely on the search for keeping up with posts that I am active in though. I just search for author and target my own user name. |

i find the search function goes into endless search ,if item not on first or second page i can search by clicking on page,otherwise forget it just go google hope find it that way |
