Does anyone manufacture 28mm WWI Japanese infantry?

Probably look like Russo Japanese
Old Glory 25mm

I can't find any Russo-Japanese figures on the Old Glory website, only Boxer Rebellion figures. Can you send me a link? Thanks.

Pretty sure Tsuba miniatures would work:

In the WW1 uniform the crown of the cap is wider, more like a 1914 BEF cap. The Red Army would later copy this cap and called it a "Japanese cap!"

It's interesting that no one has gotten around to making WW1 and interwar Japanese. I'm sure that the peaked cap was still worn until the mid-30's and saw service in the early part of the 2nd Sino-Japanese War.

Rvandusen -- thanks much for pointing that out. I had not realize there was a change from the roundish cap of 1905 To the BEF style that you mention. A quick Google search on Japanese World War I uniforms makes this very clear. I guess I will have to demobilize my current Japanese troops that I use in the back of beyond campaigns of the 1920s :-) The Chinese warlord troops might will suffice for the Japanese. With these cobblestone figures work?

I just came across the 28mm Japanese Marines in the 1920s uniform from Reiver Castings.

Other than the color of the uniforms, I'm wondering what the difference is between the uniforms for the Marines and the regular infantry?

Those figures look a lot like the Outpost Mexican Revolution Federales; same sculptor?
