The new game from Osprey in August is Dracula's America: Shadows of the West.

You can see it here: link

North Star will be making a series of character figures for it, designed to complement the Artizan Design Wild West range.

We'll start promoting the game and figures in July, but we've kicked off with a Facebook page here for those of you who are Social Media types.

The nice thing about sticking with a conventional scale is that people with no interest in this particular background can still buy the figures for their own vision of the Weird West.

Aye.

Time to dig out "Great Rail Wars" figures….

I'm already heading Weird West; I'm running a game at Texicon next month with a Preacher, a Bounty Hunter, a Bandido, a Comanche Brave, a Texas Ranger & a Gunfighter teamed up to put down a powerful Vampire & his many minions. I've already got several excellent Artizan WW figures so an added passle of Evil folk is appealing for future scenarios.

The authors must have seen the 1960s flick "Billy the Kid Meets Dracula" and became enamored of it.

"Count Alucard" showed up in the Old West and started making trouble. Then someone figured out that "Alucard" was "Dracula" spelled backwards and realized the true identity of the villain.

Like the background. Hope the system is good…
