Hello,

I would like to share with you some images of my Habsburg Army command stands for Hiller's Corps during the 1809 Danube campaign.

picture

From left to right:

Feldmarschall-Leutnant Karl von Vincent (or General-Major Armand von Nordmann) with an officer from the Liechtenstein Hussar Regiment # 7.

General-Major Nikolaus Weissenwolf (or Feldmarschall-Leutnant Friedrich Kottulinsky) with a junior officer and drummer from Kerpen Infantry Regiment # 49.

Feldmarschall-Leutnant Friedrich Kottulinsky ( or Feldmarschall-Leutnant Johann von Hiller) with an ADC and an NCO from Jordis Infantry Regiment # 59.

If you are interested, I also have a detailed description of how to paint cold white with more Austrians.

Fine work Jerry!

Of course you can use the technique with just about any color but after reading through your painting tutorial I found myself trying to come up with something to paint white ;)

Splendid, well done.

Thank you all.

Your kind words are very much appreciated.

Erik, I am lucky that my Fiance sees an AUD $1 USD-2 investment an hour in a hobby that keeps me at home, both a cost effective and worthy way to spend my time.

BigDan, you are right! Nothing groundbreaking, but I wish I knew all this when I started 15 years ago. I like the wash stage as it really reveals all the detail AB has kindly provided and with most other colours, it provides you the base layer, thus leaving you only needing two paints.

For anyone else interested, I thought I would leave closer shots of the stands.

Kurt.
