Good commentary there about how you felt it worked, and your "answers" to the perceived issues for your table size. The use of "ADCs" will probably allow the early battles to exploit the French strengths, so it may well be fun to get the balance of forces right |

Great report. One way to address the AdC 4v6 discrepancy may be to use the C-in-C ability rules eg make the French commander Incomparable (+1 AdC) or make the Russian Commissariat (-1 AdC for over 5 brigades) regards
