The Dark Angels do look pretty sharp.

I think I'm still leaning towards Crimson Fists, Ultramarines or Imperial Fists though.

Gotta go yellow. Imperial Fists gotta represent.

Can't wait to hunt the fallen with these new models

I've seen the Dreadnought. Do you think they're going to scale up Terminators as well?

Mithmee28 May 2017 10:22 p.m. PST

Yes, since they can charge more for them.

Lion in the Stars29 May 2017 4:22 a.m. PST

I dunno about terminators, that armor is supposed to be irreplaceable in the 41st millennium.

Personally, I'm trying to decide between Marines Errant, Howling Griffons, Space Sharks, and Executioners. And I'm going to paint up my new marines in Badab War camo:

Might not even get any Primaris marines, though I do like the new armor.

Mine are going to have to be camouflaged… well… they are really big marines :) :

I like them as they are relatively clean by today`s standards and not too busy or fussy

Going to have to get some :)

Lion, are those Blood Angel Successor Chapters?

Only the Lamenters.

Narwhal King29 May 2017 1:46 p.m. PST

ok, the others looked like Blood Angel Successor Chapters, but I know nothing about Blood Angels.

It looks like they will be doing some new chapters formed entirely of the new Primaris marines. They will not just be used to bolster the ranks of existing chapters.

It does say in the article that chapters that suffered most heavily or have fewer marines will be receiving them first. I would imagine that after the conflict with Magnus the Space Wolves would be up among those most in need.

Also the Crimson Fists are on their last legs after the disaster on Rynn's World and subsequent set backs.

RTJEBADIA29 May 2017 8:39 p.m. PST

Yeah there were like 30 Crimson Fists, and that's before they put me in charge of them at that godforsaken farm…

CzarBLood30 May 2017 9:42 a.m. PST

I am thinking Red Scorpions or Imperial Fist successors.

Moonbeast30 May 2017 9:42 a.m. PST

I suspect the Scythes of the Emperor will also be among the first, because tyranids. Always loved their color scheme…but I need a new marine army like I need more possessed.

Bob Runnicles31 May 2017 6:39 a.m. PST

Mine will be going to reinforce the Sons of Dorn! Imperial Fists forever!

The H Man01 Jun 2017 5:32 p.m. PST

Is it just me or do some of the marines look to have realistic proportions/anatomy? It must be the camera angle. Kinda scary. If only, hey.

Eclipsing Binaries02 Jun 2017 2:36 a.m. PST

H Man, I've seen them in the local Warhammer store, and they look great!

The H Man02 Jun 2017 4:47 a.m. PST

But are they in the regular exaggerated style or more real, I assume the former. I think the paint job is working for them here, I don't think poorly painted ones would look as good (well, obviously).

Eclipsing Binaries02 Jun 2017 9:34 a.m. PST

They do look better proportionally, taller without becoming overly wide. Our store here has some Ultramarines that were supplied painted that looked amazing, and the shop manager painted up a couple himself – they all looked good even though he admitted painting his quickly to get them on display.
