You have to post a link to where the picture is.

It's a bricole, probably from 1801-02, used by the Guards Chasseurs Grenadier Lifeguards battery at the Battle of Killie-grognard. Worth about $2.07 USD

Happy to help by posting a picture for you.

My e mail address is very, very, encrypted. I can think of few politicians who could exploit it….well, maybe one or two……..

Seriously, let me know if I can help….unless you are something weird

Perhaps it has documents in it telling Nigel Sale where Vandeleur and his cavalry were during the last half hour

Come on Dr X…you have to share this with us….

The Atlantic may be a barrier to comprehension.

My wife was once told by my cousin's wife, as we climbed into a canoe on the Rogue River in Oregon, to shift her fanny. OK, she got the message and slid to one side, but was a bit surprised, until it was explained later, that the part referenced was subtly different shall we say, over the pond?

JimDuncanUK31 May 2017 2:35 p.m. PST

No, I don't get it either and I know what a fanny is on both sides of the pond.

You are truly a lucky man then. Just make sure, on Google, where you are, before you make the reference. I once suggested to a female colleague in surgery in Michigan that, as we had a really early start to "make rounds"…very US speak that, I would knock her up in the morning. I seriously had no idea……she wept with laughter.

I cannot believe our esteemed Editor did not Dawghouse me for this. Trust me, King George's colonial rebels, there is a difference over here (a few mms I admit) but you could get your face slapped if you address a girl's fanny in the UK.

and I have still no idea what this posting is about
