After a brief hiatus, my Doctor Who project continues, as I slap some paint about and see my old-school Daleks finally finished;

Don't worry about negative comments! If not constructive they are not worth making!
Trolls should restrict themselves to the shadows where they belong, as JRR Tolkein pointed out, they cannot stand the light!
I always paint to my personal standard, I am not in competition with anyone. If I am happy with the results, that is good enough!

Carrion, yours has always been one of my favourite blogs, so I hope you don't let a few toxic individuals put you off it. So sorry to hear this, though; the internet can be a very nasty place at times.

As for your Dr Who figures, they are looking great. The Daleks came out just right. Years ago I painted up some of those Bleeped texts myself and well remember how I learned to detest those nodules! I'll look forward to reading how you make out in the coming games. Be sure to let us know!

(Also: wasn't it you and your friend Roger who were doing a Masters of the Universe project? Loved those articles as well!)

Good stuff you have going! I don't follow Dr Who, but I had the pleasure the other day to watch the last episode(?) of the new series(again?) where Davros was finally defeated.

Sobieski27 May 2017 5:48 p.m. PST

"Finally" is a slippery concept in some series!

(Love the shower picture)

Keep going. Bleeped text the critics.

I also enjoy your projects, please continue sharing.

Gone Fishing yes it was (is) us who do the He-Man figures, if fact I'll be doing a couple more for "Forgotten Heroes" month.

There is still time to join in, by the way, the rules are here….

Cheers Roger.

I have an Abslom Daak conversion that is still unpainted a decade or so later! Probably because it's an old GW figure and the end result never quite convinced me.
Using the Crooked Dice Pandora as a heroine is a good move..looks very Sara Kingdom.

A hint.. so many Doctor Who stories involve a hapless group of besieged base personnel. A great source is Ainsty Castings Station Crew and Valley Forge crew.

Thank you to everyone who has offered their support. It's this part of the online gaming community that restores my faith in human nature.

I had thought that the only 'trolls' I would face would be on the tabletop, but it aapears they get everywhere. However, just like Tolkien's trolls, they don't last long when exposed to the light.

There will be a small break in the Doctor Who project whilst I take part in 'Forgotten Heroes' during June, but rest assured there will be more Who to come. I mean, I haven't got any Rutan yet and everyone needs a big blob of green luminescent snot, don't they?

Good one! That deserves to be framed and put up somewhere.

I'm late to this party, but I just wanted to say you're doing an awesome job. Forget the haters.
