The Kensei Kick starter has been a huge success. It is now approaching its last 24 hours. link

It's main goal is to find the printing of the new Kensei rule book

(Link to PDF of rule book DRAFT) PDF link

…and bring into production the new War Machines

Along the way eight free stretch goal figures have been unlocked, and new add-ons produced including a Taiko (drum) and artillery emplacements. Out of production scenery and yet-to be released undead elements will also be available in the pledge manager.

There are still stretch goals to come, like this engineer to go with the guns.

If you are interest in tabletop Samurai warfare, especially with a fantasy twist, they you may not want to miss this one. link

The rules look really great – for both historical games or fantasy. The figures are fantastic. The rules are stand alone but also mesh in with the skirmish set Torii so you can move between game sizes if your campaign requires!

The rules offer significantly more clan/faction options and depth of play than ToH (which I also have) IMO so this will be my go to set from now on for Samurai games.

One hour to go, and the Engineer-Samurai and Kosume figures have been unlocked (free for the appropriate pledges)

In breaking news… If the campaign reaches 400 backers, all backers of €18.00 EUR (the Rulebook) or more will get a 10% discount on Zenit's online store forever.
