This topic got big-zapped yesterday, so I'll try again … Has anybody played the Warlord Dr. Who game? My wife recently got interested in the TV shows, and dragged me along with her, so I'm looking for gaming angles. From what I saw on the video of one of the Warlord chaps discussing it at a show, it looks rather like generic SF skirmish game. If that's the case I might just as well roll my own. If not, and it has some distinctly Whovian flavor to it, or some depth that was not immediately apparent, it might bear a closer look. Thanks, Doug |

I think they just put the rules PDF up as a free download on their site. |

Downloaded the rules and had a quick look. It seems like just a skirmish game, but I guess you need the adventure cards to get a feel for any other mechanic. The 7TV or the free Dr Who ruleset by the Crooked Dice folks, look to be simpler rules and more entertaining. |
