Does anyone know whether the Grenadiers de France, as a formed regiment, had their own regimental artillery attached a la Suedois or, as part of the Reserve of Grenadiers, they would have relied on artillery support from the main artillery park?

I checked several other French regimental entries in Kronoskaf and none of them mentioned regimental guns either, so don't take the lack of an netry to mean there were no regimental guns with the Grenadiers de France.

Good question – I don't have any regimental guns with my Grenadiers de France; as they were a regiment created from converged grenadier companies I sort of assumed they would not

They were consolidated in the 1740's, so were more like a standing grenadier unit of several battalions. It would be good to see gunners from the unit in their Grenadier uniform!

GdeP, while visually appealing, I think the lack of positive information for a unique regimental organization brings it into question, which is why I queried it in the first place.

Despite the lack of an explicit mention on Kronoskaf (as Col Campbell says, don't bother to look; there is no mention for any French infantry regiment, as guns 'a la Suedois' are part of the overall organisation of the French 'line' infantry), as the Grenadiers de France are a standing regiment in the SYW despite having a different structure (4 brigades rather than battalions), do they conform to the overall rule? And while I'm on the subject, what about the Gardes Francais (and Gardes Suisse) which by the SYW are treated as 'line' units?

I would assume they had their regulation allowance of one piece à la Suédoise per battalion/i.e. so entitled brigade, just as all the other line battalions did.
The respective Ordonnance du Roi dates to early 1756, AFAIK.
Since the Grenadiers de France were counted among the regular line units, I believe they are included with this Ordonnance.

@Frederick;

I believe you are confusing the Grenadiers de France with the Grenadiers Royale.
