Don't recall at title, but I remember Charles Whiting was the author of one. Pretty sure that was a pseudonym but a search for him would hopefully get you there.

Ib Melchior wrote "Order of Battle: HItler's Werewolves" in 1972, as well as a number of other end-of-war novels. I believe he was involved in Army Intelligence and de-nazification too.
