Here's a write-up of a little Brits vs Germans skirmish action set in 1945 using Skirmish Action rules and providing some analysis of the game mechanics. OOB at end of AAR.

Nice Batrep. I just bought the spiral-bound rulebook and markers from On Military Matters. Will give it a whirl once I get the chance to go through the rules. This will be my third set of WWII skirmish rules (I also have Bolt Action 2nd Ed and Disposable Heroes 2). Nothing wrong with any of them; I just like to play different rules once in a while for a change in scenery.

Sounds interesting. Considering the game mechanics, it sounds like it would play pretty well solo.

Of interest. Thanks
