Well, at the shows in Britain that I go to it seems that people make an effort to be different by putting on games set during the most obscure conflict they can find!

I reckon WW2 is easily the most common, though…

Based on my midwestern US perspective…

WWII land warfare
Pulp of various flavors
ACW
Naps
number five is hard… either the broad category of air battles or sci-fi (and I'm including zombies in sci-fi).

As always, ancients are well represented but mostly in the tournaments.

Based on a show in Georgia and one in Florida that I have attended plus the shows in Louisiana and Tenn. that are coming up next month.
Due to FoW revival and Bolt Action and other rules, the total number of WW2 games is first
WW1 aviation has been at all. Also Great War by Borg was at Florida show.
Hard to say a specific war but Due to SAGA and DBA post 500ad ancients are strong.
Colonial 1870-1905 has been at every show
American Civil Warhas also been at every show with Moreno and Good Ground being at three of the four shows.
Post-apoplectic modern in some form, zombies to cars etc.
