The book I am thinking of/referring to is considered by many/most to be one of the very first (Un)Official Histories of major British wars and campaigns starting in circa 1875 and going onwards to this very day.

It's about the Zulu war, but I cannot think of the title for the life of me.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks

Andrew

Mayhaps, The Washing of the Spears? It's by no means the only candidate, but a possible one.
