I have a couple of questions on these rules. 1. Is there a die roll to spot or just point to one of the markers that are in range? 2. Do the modifiers for gunfire, rockets and bombs only apply to the target? I ask this because a PT boat doing 35kts can't be a very stable platform. Thanks Jim |

From what I understand: 1) spotting is automatic if within range 2) page 2 modifiers---the last column applies to the shooter |

Thanks, my copy of the rules doesn't have "The target is moving at/The shooter is moving at" header, just the modifiers. It must be a old copy. Plus my copy only has 11 pages not 12. I guess I'll be updating my copy. Thanks again Jim |

1. Spotting is automatic when you get within the range on the chart, depending on the modifiers for target size / speed. 2. What Bob said. …it's a very straightforward set of rules and I've had some very enjoyable games as a result. link link link |

Boggler it was your aars and playing a game of flaklighter at cold wars that got me to dig the rules out of a storage tub and give them another try. This is when I realized something was not right with my copy. I really like that they are simple and and straightforward and fun. On a side note I also got my copy of bulldogs away out and started to put the boats, that I got years ago, together. So thanks to you 2 more new projects to work on! Thanks jim |

Chaps, thanks for fielding these questions for me. I've been stuck on an airliner most of the day and missed these before :) |
