I just heard about this Kickstarter from Desktop Dioramas. They sponsored my Danger Zone at Little Wars and What Khan last Fall so I'm returning the favor by letting folks know about this kickstarter.

They have vets who are painting tanks that you can buy. I have no other connection with them, but it seems like a good way to get painted 28mm vehicles and help some veterans. I don't know any more than that, so check out the kickstarter for more info.

They seem to be in line with most 28mm vehicles.

When they say 28mm, do they mean 1:56 or 1:48? I couldn't find an answer on the Web page.

They are 1/56 scale, all are Bolt Action and Rubicon

They look nice in general, but the camouflage patterns look like they were painted by chimpanzees with toothbrushes.

"chimpanzees with toothbrushes".
That's trained chimpanzees and new toothbrushes.
On a serious note, I'm in for one.

I think the paint jobs look fine. You could certainly add a little weathering when you get them home. Chimpanzees with toothbrushes is pretty harsh.
