Looking for a UK source for window grills, balcony railings and the like for some middle-east town buildings such as in Fallujah I am planning to make.

Happy with brass etched, thin mdf or plasticard.

Any pointers would be appreciated.

Alan.

these look terrific and I've toyed with the idea over the years of ordering some, but they are expensive! and maybe too small for your purposes (although I am a 20mm as well)
Dan Taylor of Dan Taylor Modelworks was also considering doing some after recently finishing a world class diorama in 1/72 which can be viewed here – he did the buildings from scratch, stunning

Try Fenris Games 28mm fencing which can be cut down, model railway HO/OO fencing, Plastic Mesh Canvas ( try eBay and comes in various sizes), needle point/ cross stick canvas and metal mesh for bodywork from Halfords.

Warbases are great for frames and roofing tiles but I'd make shutters out of scored cornflake packets cardboard as you may need a lot.

S&S Models do a great line in clutter as well as satellite dishes and air con units.

Hope that helps and if you'd like anything else drop me a PM.

Phil
