I began my 15mm Anglo-Zulu War and Sudan campaigns collections about 35 years with Mikes Models and Naismith Designs. Subsequently, I expanded my armies with Gallia, Peter Pig and a few Essex. Are there any other manufacturers of true 15mm scale Colonial figures?

I would say that Stone Mountain are closer to 15mm as they are an older line, but the British infantry are very nice:

I am a great fan of Gallia for the Sudan.
You might consider Minifig. The Old Glory 15 company have some too.

Some 19th Century QRF figures would scale in nicely, not the Carlist War ones though, they are bigger.

Thanks for the suggestions!

Rudy- I agree with you about Gallia's Sudan range. I've got several hundred in my collection and think they're great. I'm especially fond of the Ansar and Hadendowah spearmen and swordsmen.
Buckeye Daryl- Geez, I can't believe I didn't think of Stone Mountain. My entire FFL collection consists of their figures. Doh! Great idea.
Oh Bleeped text- I'll check out QRF. Thanks for the tip!

The Old Glory 15s Sudan line is fairly extensive:

And they have great discounts (40%!)
Only one pic here,unfortunately.

You should be aware that the Dismounted Camel Corps features standing camels and "camel holders"--no idea where the sculptor got that notion.

I asked big Steve if they came equipped with ladders. He was not amused.

Are OG 15's true 15mm figures? I'd been under the [perhaps mis]impression that they were bigger. Hmmm…something else to look into. Thanks, Vincent!

OG15 would probably dwarf Mike's Models but could work fine with Essex and Minifies, be bigger than Peter Pig. They are much stockier than the Peter Pig or Stone Mountain figures – though not quite as stocky as Essex figures.
