I got this stargate from studio bergstrom a while back and had some fun lately painting the event horizon. Its about 4" diameter and I glued a clear acrylic disc in the middle for painting.

@alan. no rules. Im mainly a painter now days and having seen these a few years ago I had to get one just to try the event horizon effect.
