Does anyone know of a manufacturer in 15 mm scale – or a close enough scale to not be too noticeable?

I can't really use a MTU-55 scissors bridge layer

Thanks in advance

I raised this issue for 1/144th scale.

Don't know of any in 15mm.

I suspect a T-55 hull, and a homemade paper, or styrene bridge may be the way forward, given costs I was quoted for 1/144th scale.

why cant you use an mtu 55?
we have a master for an mtu55 conversion in 15mm
just got to get hold of some psc t55's

picture

it was originaly based on the khurisan t55, which is harder to get.

Thanks all,

Why cant I use an mtu 55? Form what I've seen in photos and read these were rare on the Golan. There's a strong possibility that only the best equipped formations had them – the Republican Guard units with T62 and BMP1. The vast majority of photos and Israeli accounts refer to the MTU-12 or 20.

BUT – I might just have to say it's an attached engineering coy from the Guard!

there was mtu 55's on the golan and there are pics of them next to the mtu 20 bridges laid out, so not that rare.
me and neil burt have been looking into mtu 55 use and more pics are emerging of them in use.

Yes indeed a rare picture exist of at least one on the golan! Saved me making the more frequently seen version over the tank traps!
