I'm gearing up to play GW's new game Shadow War Armageddon. I saw on Facebook people making shipping pallets. I loved the idea so I gave it a go. Also my zombie games will use these.

Now just make 12 more.

More pics and a detailed tutorial on my blog:

To be honest a detailed tutorial might be overkill, but I saw people on FB asking so there you go. It's a very easy project, that adds great detail to any modern, or gritty sci-fi setting.

Cheers, Xin/Jeff

Very cool. And you can stain them for age and dirt. Nice.

For those of us whose scratch building skills are a bit low then there is always pallets made by Warbases.

A quick email to Martin would suffice to make up an order including a scale up if need be.

I bought your pallets at Fall In. I can't find them. They are in my basement somewhere. LOL. Hopefully they'll show up sometime.

As are mine :-)

The laser-cut MDF pallets are OK but I think Xin's scratch-built ones look the best.

I deal with 1:1 versions everyday. The scratch built ones look more realistic (nicked gashed, even broken boards etc.). The MDF ones are nice, but they need a bit of roughing up. Well done Xintao.

I need to build some for my game terrain too!
