How do they compare size-wise to the usual suspects?

They are 1/56th scale, i.e "true" 28mm. They are sculpted by Richard Ansell, so they fit perfectly with Minden Miniatures and Fife and Drum Miniatures, both under the ownership of our fellow TMPr Der Alte Fritz.

Crann Tara are, indeed, mostly sculpted by Richard Ansell and are fully compatible with Mindens, but they are not owned by Der Alte Fritz.

Great figures, the Jacobite rebellion range is lovely as is the ever growing WAS one. Superb figures and a joy to deal with.

I meant that Minden and Fife and Drum are owned by DAF. Crann Tara doesn't, of course.

I haven't painted any yet, but the non-tricorne heads look a might small. I do understand that they are more correctly proportioned than most figs, but…
