I'm testing how my rules handle large armor forces (20+ tanks per side) so I have a table set up for 6mm troops. Just simple solo play testing for now. Not basic but not what I would do for a game with guests. Still, not bad looking I think.

Looks like open country with enough variation to get a good test of tank rules.

I keep, looking for the O.G.R.E. Where is it hiding?

O.G.R.E. has learned the first lesson of not being seen.

Do not stand up.

Your terrain set up is excellent. If this is what you throw together for a test what do you do for a game with guests?

If it's a game "for real" I just add a lot more "bits." Gardens and fields, for example. I would put city ties under the two major urban centers. Hedges. There would probably be some dirt roads/paths. Just anything to break up the open terrain (it would still play "flat" just not look that way).

Looks idyllic. Bet you can't wait to churn it to a blasted wasteland of mud and rubble!

Little touch that I really like: wooded areas on hills.
Always disliked the artificial convention that woods are Woods and hills are Hills and ne'er the twain shall meet.

Looks good. It's great to see some finished boards. I've a long way to go but at least I'm getting games in. 😁
