A few more re-enforcements for the Imperial army.

Some artillery various unknown artillery pieces pressganged into use. The crew are a mixture of some irregular and old glory Chinese figures and a variety of odd Indian figures disguised!

Wow – beautiful work, and some serious amount of artillery!!

The figures always look worse in the photos to me. I do love the junks though.

You can never have enough guns! I did the battle of Amoy recently and there were over 100 Chinese guns in the harbour and another 128 on the junks! Luckily I don't game at 1:1 scale!

Can I recommend the medium guns from Outpost wargames Ching/Manchu range. I use the dragon barrels for other guns and use them 'as is' for the junks. Jeff has kindly cast the guns without crew for me and even supplied extra dragon barrels for me in the past …and is hopefully currently casting me some more as we speak!

the junk is superb , where did you get that ?

They are off of eBay and come from China. I think a museum has them for visitors to do. Laser cut from some sort of plywood. There are a few different models and I think they suit the scale well. Waterlilies is a bit tricky as they are full hull models with planking..but it's doable.
My first order never turned up but they did send me another batch.
