Hello, I would like to reproduce these colors for a French indochina project in 28mm:
I think in Vallejo, it would be: Vallejo flat brown 984 for the camo Vallejo US dark green 893 or maybe Russian uniform WWII 924 for the net Vallejo Green grey 886 for the band Do you agree? different suggestions? A good helmet color helps making the figure. thank you. |

I would recommend Brown Violet for the green and as you mentioned flat brown. You really can't see the helmet, so it wouldn't matter if doing in 28mm. P. |

Blend until you are happy. Painting by numbers looks flat and lifeless. |

I have paint cards that I can compare with photos
For the brown, you could use any of these - German Camo Medium Brown 70.826 - Chocolate Brown 70.872 - Leather Brown 70.871
For the green net, any of these - US Dark Green 70.893 - Reflective Green 70.890 - Cam Olive Green 70.894 For the Blue / Green strap, how about - German Uniform 70.920 - Luftwaffe Camo Green 70.823 |

They are going to have to be exaggerated anyway on a 28mm figure plus I'll add to the mix the following factors: wear and tear; dirt; sun bleaching; variations in dye and manufacture; more dirt… Seriously, just make a stab at something that looks close and nice! John T |

wow, thank you guys! Yes, I will play with the basic colors. Redmist, the brown violet is a good idea but I will use it for the helmets without the net, Big thank you from Mick in Switzerland, I will check those colors. |

At a few inches, the greens and browns can be seen as discrete colors But What do these coolors look like at two or three feet? Some dark color with the distinctiins lost Indeed, as I use 6 mm, I simply use a dark single color |
