S Range – Eqyptian Crimean War Cuirassier Conversion – Not everything works. This was supposed to be the title, but it was too long. Sorry if you have been mislead!
A stab I made at converting a Minifigs S range Napoleonic Cuirassier into a Egyptian Crimean War Cuirassier. Just shows not everything works as you would like but they pass the other side of the table test!

Yep, they pass the "arms length" rule.

I would think most gamers would marvel at the painted conversions rather than any niggling detail.

Hi Cyrus and 79th. Many thanks for your comments and as I seem to always say 'thank you for posting'. I am beginning to think maybe I am being a bit harsh. But you know what it is like you get a vision in your mind of what you want to see and if it doesn't quite come off , the level of disappointment is perhaps out of proportion.

I think we are harsher on ourselves than other are of us (and our efforts).
