Looking to game with Late Romans/Huns/Goths. Big battles in 15mm. I would be interested to hear people's comments on these rules. |

I've had a couple of enjoyable games with it, good period feel. |

We had several good games with the early version, enough that I've rebased all my Early Medievals for them. It's about timing the commitment of you leaders and their comitatii (at least for the non-Roman armies) |

I play sometimes and it's a good game. |

I used to play it a bit, gave a good game. The stat line allowed some quite fine distinctions between troops without complicating things too much. |

Thank you. I have bought a copy of the author's book in the History of Wargaming series in Hay on Wye today. It has the original rules in it. So I think I'll give it a go before investing in a new set of the rules via the author's website. Thank you again for your comments. |

I have the rules and had the opportunity to play a multi-player game with the author a couple of months ago. I REALLY enjoyed the game and thought the rules gave good period feel. |

I've never played Legio VI so couldn't say if they are "more complete" but Comitatus is very suitable for 6mm. |
