Having decided that I needed to buckle down and get some painting done on my Doctor Who project, I set aside an evening this week for this purpose. However, this didn't go according to plan… link And the reason this has been cross-posted to the Superhero board? Because the above blog post also contains details of this year's Forgotten Heroes challenge! |

Very nice, although Davros looks a little tall; I'm sure that he was shorter than a Dalek, but it's been a while |

He looks good. I have the BTD one locked away in a case somewhere. You have reminded me to buy up the other Doctors before they retire the moulds. |

"Retire the moulds"? I slap my thigh and laugh like a musketeer! The official line is that they're selling off existing stock which was – pay attention IP lawyers – cast back when BTD held the Dr Who license. Remember the story, and stick to it! |

Guys' I think you're missing the point here, he couldn't get the official licenced figure (or not in the BTD case!) so he made his own' Besides if you know Jez as well as I do you'd know that this is not "BBC enterprises" Davros, this is Jeremy Winstanley Davros, Jez always takes familiar things and put his own spin on them! Thinking outside of the box is what he does, and is a great appeal for us who follow his blog. And Norman, I remember BTD telling me that 10+ years ago too, how much stock do these guys have cast up! Cheers Roger. |
