I have seen images of Hip's being the standard grey and dark grey…

In this image they seem to be variations on light olive green

Looking through a bunch of Mi-8 pictures from Afghanistan, the green or grey-green seems to be quite common. (I'm also trying to work out what color I'm going to paint my hips when they arrive…)
