Da sneaky gits 'it us when the ladz was scattered all ova the place. We wuz on da look out for 'em when they shot Ghazzie in da back and doubled up on Whazack.


All da boyz came a runnin' afta that. Da boss got stuck in rightways, but da rest of us culdna get close enuff.


Roters were shootin' da whole time. Shot one of their own in da back they did. 'E went down and da boss had a go at 'im and gave 'im a right kickin'.

They didna seem to like dat much and lit da boss up but good. 'It 'im wiv every thing they 'ad.

I wuz watchin and da git wiv da plasma gun got in da first licks. Da boss was burnt da whole way fru. Saw right fru 'im I did.

But 'e wuz still standin'. Anuvver git lit 'im up den, wiv his pistol but the da boss wevered dat, 'e did.

It wuzn't til da fird bloke 'ad 'im wiv da big gun. Lottsa dakka dere, dere wuz. Da boss took lottsa shots an' went down.


We rushed up and Rekkit was shootin' da whole time. 'E 'it da one wiv da plasma blasta. But the puppies were too fraid to get stuck in proppa an' just kept poppin' off at us.

We wuz all 'it somewhere. Yuz can see 'ere, look. I took one right in da gribblies.


Rekkit got 'it an' 'e stood back up ta give dem some more proper like. I recon 'e wuz a lil' shot up doe as 'e shot mostly inta da roof.


Da one wiv da scatter gun did for 'im da second time an' we all crawled away and 'id.

Da hummies went an' blew up da 'ole so nows we can't get back 'in an' da uver ladz can't get out.

It wuz a hard win ta be sure, but we gived it ta dem pretty good. We all gotsaway ya see, so we can goes back an' av anuver go an' dats what winnin' is all abouts.

This was our second game, it went pretty well for the marines. Not so well for the Orks. Although the ork boss took a lot of killing, had the rest of the Orks been right behind him it might have made a difference.

Although when two orks jumped one marine, despite being at a 3-1 A disadvantage and a 5-4 and 6-4 WS disadvantage the marine took them both out.

So maybe it was just not the Orks day.

The Rout Scout Sgt. went down, but stayed in the fight.

On the positive side for the Orks, they did manage to keep passing bottle tests.

Wow, with all those guys clumped up, were you not failing a bunch of Leadership tests?

I've had so many guys break from failed Leadership tests when a buddy goes down that I almost never have someone within 2".

The Orks were rolling leadership tests like champs. They didn't even end up bottling out, we just declared they were done when all of their guys were down.

They did roll the indomitable thing for the start of the game, so their bottle tests were with bonuses but still. Everyone rolled high for their ammo rolls and low for their Ld tests. Except the one scout. His bolt pistol ran out of ammo.

The heavy bolter dude had to make 3 ammo tests in one turn. He also shot his buddy in the back. The only Scout to go out of action, I might add.

I believe you automatically fail bottle tests if all of your fighters are down or out of action.

What about that scout that's down and in b2b with that ork? He'd be automatically out of action too.

He was automatically out of action. He was the one that got shot in the back and when the Ork boss charged him he was done.

Then everyone lit up the Ork but just barely killed him.

Pictors, do you feel that orks benefit from shooting, or should I continue with my feral "all choppers" ork kill team?

Given how powerful pinning can be, I would always take the option to be able to shoot. Many of our games didn't even see close combat happen and most times we saw only one or two models engaged on each side.

Against marines it isn't so great but against many other armies it is pretty fantastic.

Don't forget that models can still hit on more than a 6.

Did you make the walls and corridors, Scott? If so, what did you use?

I did not. They come from Fantasy Arc.

I just assembled and painted them.
