Been working on a new piece of terrain to go with my other Goblin Valley inspired stuff from several years back. This piece is specifically for use with my post-apocalypse gaming and will feature in a number of scenarios. Here are a few pix:

First step, roughing out the foam.

There are more step by step photos on my blog, if interested:

The next step involves construction of the post-apoc penthouse on top of the formation.

Thanks for looking.

This is great stuff. Nice unusual look to it. Like it a lot.

OMG Goblin Valley is one of my favorite places on Earth. You have captured the essence perfectly.

Please make enough to cover a table, then send me your address so I can steal it all. No, wait, that didn't come out right…

Nicely done! I like how you went from concept to the finished model.

IrishSerb, did you make any beryllium spheres for these guys? :)

Could they be miners?
Sure, they look like they're 3 years old.
Miners, not minors!

Thanks guys, the comments are appreciated.

CC, Hmmm, beryllium spheres. I think you just gave me an idea for the tabletop.

IrishSerb,

You should get these guys and paint them like those in Galaxy Quest:

Cool find on the figs, too bad my stuff is all 28mm.

Like the idea of the shuttle, probably gonna give that a go a little farther down the road.
