I just finished some scatter terrain for my games of A Fistful of Lead: Reloaded, using the excellent Shellhole Scenics plastic cactus and bases by the equally splendid East Riding Miniatures. The cactus pieces are easy to use and very good value for money; even though designed for 20mm games they work well in 28mm too. Anyway, I hope you like the end result.

I wouldn't say excellent but better than most. Those are pretty shot they grow to about 40 feet. The don't grow close together do to the extensive root system surrounding each one.

What saguaros really look like

Especially like the inclusion of the wheel in the sand – tells a bit of a story to go along with very nice modeling. I can see myself having this much – and more – for my 15 mm set up. Though your setup seems a lot for a 28 mm game. But a very good looking game if everything else matches up to this. Top drawer.

I'll say excellent! Excellent!

Thanks chaps,

They're not meant to be super realistic – just a bit of handy cover for the bad guys in black hats to sneak up behind. They will be scattered about on a 3' x 3' area as well, so won't be as packed in as the photos.

:O)

Better than most I've seen done for wargames. Will look fine on the tabletop for sure. I agree "real" saguaros are different, but I've no issue with how you've done 'em!

I think it looks great. I've backpacked the Superstition Mountains and I think it looks right.
