That's inspiring! Love the blood on the steps…. Any info on how you did the bases for the jungle clutter and from where you snagged the trees? |

The trees would have come from the pet shop or two dollar store (Thats about how much they cost also, in clumps much larger than are used here, he has pulled them into small bits to serve the purpose), they are very common (in a good way). They appear to be based on card or mdf with filler and sand and a few rocks. I assume the plants were glued on after the bases were painted (as the plants are unpainted). I am not sure about the flowers, they may be coloured flock. The first pic has some brown leaves I am unfamiliar with, they may be real, or another type of artificial (more likely). |

Excellent observation, The H Man! Random laser-cut hardboard bases with lots of different artificial plants from Michaels and Hobby Lobby. They have some really nice and cheap stuff (check for sales and coupon deals!). Most of it comes in "tiles". Just take of all the plants, cut the base in pieces and glue them on the bases. Use filler to create the surface. Add rocks and some tree trunks and such. Then paint. When done, just push the plants back on their bases and there you go. Some of the bigger plants were just glued in place as they don't have bases. Little flowers and grass are tufts from Gamer's Grass. |

Awesome terrain. I'm looking at your terrain for some Junglegrave gaming soon. What is the figure in the blue cape holding a sword? Thanks, Xin/Jeff |

Thanks, Jeff! All figures are Freebooter's Fate (German manufacturer). In case you are interested I should be able to get them for you. Just PM or email me. Joerg |
