I love the Lace & Steel rpg; fantasy in a world with rapiers and black powder pistols. I'd love to find some stylish, elegant figures that would be useable for that; buff coats, broad hats, lace collars, high boots. Or sorcerers (and sorceresses) in similar garb. And outfits for formal balls too (L&S actually has a gossip/sniping system for ladies attending balls). And I know one of my players would love to have a miniature of a female human wearing battered old boots, britches, a cavalry shirt and a torn greatcoat.

What I'm not looking for is rank and file ECW figures; I'd love to find ones that look like real characters, whether for heroes, villains or even guardsmen. Thanks in advance for any help.

Check out pirate figure lines for governors, kings officers, etc. Also you might find something in the various steampunk lines that would work with some slight modification.

Wyrd miniatures may have some humans in some of their factions that would work as well.

Have a look at the Redoubt Three Musketeers and ECW lines. Their figures have a lot of character, and would stand out alongside other lines.

Freebooter's Fate? Werner Klocke's style lends itself to that kind of setting. 32mm scale, though…
