On 3rd June there will be a 15mm battle of Cambrai at the Nothe Fort, Weymouth, Dorset. The game will cover day 1, 20th November 1917. Rules used will be SQUARE BASHING with Cambrai amendments. Figures etc will be 15mm. A frontage of 24 feet with a pair of players per 4 feet. Because only day 1 is being done there is time to play the game twice in the day. I will post further updates before the event. the Nothe fort is a Smaller Palmerston fort, like those around Portsmouth. Parking is plentiful and the fort is very interesting. There is an entrance fee. The game is in support of the fort so all are invited along for a chat and view. There are some colouring in sheets for younger attendees too. thank you |

Wow, the bug posted your topic to some random boards. ACW, crowd funding, Old west and 19th Cent. gallery. I hope the bug never leaves TMP. If it does get out, it would be a world wide apocalypse. It could end life on earth as we know it. |

Wish I could be there. Visited Weymouth and Nothe Fort 2 years ago. My mother was stationed there during WW2 on an ack-ack gun. Very much enjoyed all the dioramas. Cheers, JohnG |
