Hi all!

While I am trying to use only Battlevalour figures for my 15mm project (the sculpts are just BEAUTIFUL) I think I may need to find some elves to supplement them… some wood-elfy looking elves. Anyone know a manufacturer who might make figures that would work well with the Battlevalour ones, which are just beautiful?

Thanks!

Aren't Battle Valor closer to 18mm? If so, Eureka USA has these:

I have quite a few myself…great figs.

Splintered Light (splinteredlightminis.com) or Demonworld (ralparthaeurope.co.uk) might work. Also Chariot Miniatures elves from magistermilitum.com are very nice.

Splintered Light makes a nice range. Not sure about size I think the "Lights" are pretty close to "true" 15mm.

But the scale is "growing" and will eventully overtake 20mm.

Battlehonors/old glory 15 has a range of wood elevens in their black Raven forge ranges. They have both high and wood elevens along with Giants, trolls and other fanrptasy races.

The Ral Partha demon world ones are lovely. I don't know how they match size wise tho' as I don't have any battle valor.

As much as I would like to recommend mine (Splintered Light Miniatures), I think the Demonworld Wood Elves will work best with the Battlevalor ones and offer you the most options for different units.

And soon Khadrin's Miniatures Wood elves too, they are 16 to 17 mm at the top of the head ad not bad looking at all …

David, anyone who is willing to suggest someone else's product over their own is a good man!

Thanks all for the advice… Anyone know if Demonworld/Ral Partha has a US distributor? I didn't see one…?

The old Grenadier Wood Elves are very woody looking.

Demonworld elves are sweet. Ral Partha now owns the line. I especially like the Hunters and Thanaril cavalry (not sure if RP renamed them though).

The old Grenadier and SLM figures are about the same size, which is noticeably smaller than the BV line.

I love the Alternative Armies Wood Elf archers.

The Grenadier/Mirliton and SLM minis complement each other very well. But are probably too small as previously mentioned
