I've decided to do a Mycenaean version of a Lion Rampant game. So retinues have been prepared.

There are more photos and some thoughts on my blog.

Interesting idea. I've got a copy of Dragon Rampant and some Mycenaeans around the house; I will have to watch to see how this works out for you.

Apparently people have been doing this for a couple of years. I'm going to have a read of Chariots Rampant later but I pretty much know how I want Mycenaean Lion Rampant to work. We will see how things work out on the table.

Excellent idea!

Perfect game for Mycenaeans! I'm doing Sea Peoples for my third force right now.

Looking good on the blog Christopher. I must have a read through.

Have I missed a new version of the Rampant rules being released? Do the cover all ancient armies or just chariot wars?

I searched Osprey web site and couldn't see them so are they released by a different company's?

Oh Bugger02 May 2017 10:26 a.m. PST

No, Ney Ney, nothing new released.

I've decided to have a go at a Bronze Age adaptation of LR as set out on my blog.

A couple of years ago there was one published in WS&S which people have been playing.

OK thanks, I was excited for a minute! Good luck I hope it's fun, I inow a few players doing similar.

Thanks, yeah it seems a fair few folk spotted the potential.

Sobieski02 May 2017 5:14 p.m. PST

Remember they raided Egypt too.

Indeed and hired out there too. Lots of scope with this one.

I really like the look of those. Damn it all, man, I don't need another period. Stop immediately.

Kidding, of course. Off to look at the Museum Minis website!

Thanks GF, I need a couple more packs myself.

I've now got the stats done for the rosters for Mycenaeans, Sea Peoples, Libyans and Hitittes. So I'm nearly good to go for some games.
